A clue outside the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. a cross, branch, straight line, or turn) appears in the corresponding row or column, irrespective of the line shape's rotation.
A clue inside the grid indicates the length of the smallest loop (that does not touch or cross itself) on the network that touches all non-empty cells surrounding the clue. If the clue is an infinity sign, then no such loop exists.
A 6x6 example is provided:
Lösungscode: For each row from top to bottom except the last, the number of lines leading down from that row.

Avoiding mistakes with this ruleset is really tough, and it was often difficult to see how it could have a solution. Lots of cool and unexpected moments

@KNT Damn!! Now I finally have the solution, WITH that ambiguity, and both solution codes are no longer valid because the puzzle has changed.

Despite Landvermessung being a super niche genre, after the opening this felt like one of the most intuitive solves that involved an U-Bahn. Lovely!
