Hello, Kennet's Dad here. This puzzle began two years ago, and not until recently, having improved as a solver and setter, was I able to bring the puzzle to this, deleting a lot of unnecessary clues and rules along the way. Let me know how you fare in the comments.
Rules:
- Every row and column must include the digits 1-9 once each.
- All cages must sum to the same total; digits may not repeat in cages.
- Digits a king's move apart in chess must not contain the same digit.

The difficulty spike was around this point, approximately halfway through (imgur.com/a/LMC3cli) where I proved that r9c9 was in r8c123, as r9c9 plus twice C isn't fifteen. Then its position in column six revealed that r3c1 wasn't A. This is probably not intended though?

Probably the hardest puzzle I've personally solved, but includes some really lovely logic. Glad I stuck through to the end.
