Normal sudoku rules apply.
KROPKI CHAINS
Points separated by a white dot have consecutive values. Points separated by a black dot are in a 2:1 ratio. There is a hidden point between each pairs of dots, whose value need not be written into the grid.
Example: 8●●2 is valid via the chain 8●(4)●2
Example: 3●○7 is valid via the chain 3●(6)○7

I had an incredible lot of fun with this puzzle, especially finding the opening.

Hi! I am new to these rules, I have been thinking about it quite a long time, and I am positive that r5c5 could only be a 3, but the given 3 does not allow it. Can you give me a hint about where I am misinterpreting the rules?
