1, 22, 117, ?, ?, ?, 1399999, 88888888, 999999999 and its Twin

(Eingestellt am 4. September 2020, 14:30 Uhr von SudokuExplorer)

We have a sequence of integers of length 9 with its 4th, 5th and 6th terms missing:

1, 22, 117, ?, ?, ?, 1399999, 88888888, 999999999

All is not lost, as we also have its twin sequence of length 9 with its 4th, 5th and 6th terms also missing:

1, 40, 711, ?, ? , ?, 9999931, 88888888, 999999999

These twin sequences have very similar rules (they are twins but are not identical :-)).
Discover their rules and work out their missing terms.

Hint: One of the twins is older than the other one ;-)

Lösungscode: Enter the 4th, 5th and 6th terms of the first sequence, followed by the 4th, 5th and 6th terms of the second sequence. (Note that commas and spaces are removed during submission process).

Increased difficulty to three stars, due to number of solvers (but I hope the revised puzzle helps you work out the missing terms)

I've changed the puzzle to a pair of sequences.
Thanks SKORP17 for the feedback :-)

@peterchayward : das ging mir genauso, bis mir die 22 den Weg wies

@peterchayward As the spoiler mentions, you might have more properties than are necessary. Maybe remove a potential property, and see if you still define a sequence which contains the given terms.

I had a solution, but the (SPOILER) possibility of 0 being in the solution meant that it didn't work.

@Nylimb Thanks for giving it a go, and your feedback. I'll add that hint to puzzle.

Thanks to a hint from SudokuExplorer, I figured out the sequence. I probably wouldn't have without the hint.

@Nylimb Do you have exactly three rules/properties? It might be the case that you have more rules/properties than are necessary? No punctuation is needed. Maybe write a hidden comment and I'll delete it later.

@SudokuExplorer: I've found a rule that matches the given terms, but my solution code is rejected. So either I have a different rule than you intended, or I'm entering the code wrong. Is some sort of punctuation required between the terms?
