Here is a variant that hasn't appeared much (maybe at all?) on Logic Masters Germany which has a really simple and enjoyable rule-set.
This particular puzzle is a slight extension on the quadruple variant with the diagonal constraint. Originally, I was going to post an easy puzzle but decided to go for one a bit more difficult with some harder techniques. That being said, it is not meant to keep you up at night and give you nightmares :)
Rules
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Digits in a circle must appear at least once in the four surrounding cells.
- Each of the marked diagonals contains the digits 1-9.
You can play it on f-puzzles here.
As always, your comments and ratings are very much appreciated as it helps me improve as a setter. (It also helps make the rating more accurate for other solvers which is always good!)
I hope you enjoy!
