Each Marked number N appears N cells away in either a Horizontal or Vertical direction.

Geronimo92, There are no such constraints in the puzzle.
That's why the puzzle is titled Hamle sudoku not Royal Hamle.

please can you clarify the rule about the king's move constraint? only for 9's or for all digits? otherwise i cant finish solving it thanks

I think there's a mistake in your puzzle. Centre square has a marked 6, which is 5 squares away from every edge, meaning the 6 cannot be placed.
