My interest in logic puzzles dates back to 2003 when I came across a Dutch puzzle magazine called Breinbrekers. I was a fan of all the different logically solvable puzzles immediately. I roamed the internet to find more of these puzzles and found an older Dutch and US puzzle championship online, again with interesting puzzle types. When the editor of Breinbrekers asked people to send in their own creations, I made two of my favorite variants, namely an ABCtje and a scattered sudoku (by then it was still called ‘numberplace’). I found the first the most interesting in that older Dutch championship and the second the most interesting in that older USPC. To my suprise both of my puzzles were published and both were followed by many other puzzles over the years. Nowadays I still make puzzles for Breinbrekers, and also for a sudoku magazine and for the Dutch and German sudoku championships. Next to that you can try my weekly Friday-noon-puzzle here at Logic Masters Germany.
