Partially Permanent Fog

This puzzle features a twist on fog of war where some parts of the fog never clear even after the surrounding digits are filled in correctly. Even tough this is only a small "proof of concept", I still think it's worth sharing to showcase the potential of the variant. Thanks to the CtC-fan-discord for the numerous test solves and feedback!
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- The grid is partially covered in fog. Placing correct digits reveals clues in the surrounding 3x3 area. Some fog is permanent and will never clear.
- Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all dots are given.
- Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the given total, which always appears in the leftmost cell of the topmost row within the cage.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to make the permanent part of the fog less dense when I scale this puzzle up to a 9x9 so there is more confirmation on correctly entered digits.

great puzzle, but watching the fog clear is a satisfying part of doing fog puzzles, so it would be nice if there was some way to clear it at the end

I think this is 1.5 stars. It’s weird not having fog revealed and having to trust you’ve not made a mistake.
